@RashiDaga8 IPO done, book done. He has all the funds he needs now, so hands over grunt work to someone else. Smart move.

@raghav_chadha Great initiative, but if you want to actually experience their day, don't ride pillion (at the back). Instead, ride the motorbike yourself while trying to meet delivery timelines, and you'll actually know the conditions of riding a 2-wheeler in Delhi

Christmas came early for us this year!
As early investors in @GroqInc, what a privilege to see this incredible journey to @nvidia - the biggest company in the world making their largest acquisition!
Massive congrats to @sundeep, @GavinSherry, @n1th1nrao, and the entire Groq team on this incredible milestone. It’s been incredible watching them take on one of the biggest opportunities of our time and now change the game for AI applications.
They show why backing fantastic founders is ultimately the most important thing. Thrilled for the entire team at Groq!

@Amani_Chowdhry Analysing consumer behavior is so important, SuperYou has figured out that snacks are an impulsive buy and a metro station is perfect for that!
Even though Whole Truth is 10x better and cleaner, distribution beats product everytime

Back to basics... turns out regular retail margins might just work better than burning cash on 10-minute delivery.
Sometimes innovation is admitting we over-engineered the problem

Swiggy now has physical retail stores as well. But there's no integration of online-offline experience. You pick up stuff from the shelves and pay at counter; no app integration for billing, profile, or payment. Of course, no delivery + handling fees.

@BadCapitalVC Traditional labs optimised for cost & av volume can't adopt them without breaking their existing business. This is Clayton Christensen's innovator's dilemma: the thing that makes you successful (cost efficiency) prevents you from copying the disruptor (speed-first infrastructure)

Orange Health has always been committed to six-hour reporting. Not "as fast as possible" but specifically six hours, no exceptions. This one constraint made them build everything differently.
They couldn't use standard labs designed for average daily volume - they had to build for peak hourly capacity. They couldn't have doctors at each location, so they built remote pathology, where one doctor reviews slides from multiple cities. They couldn't rely on traditional logistics - so they created dedicated networks covering four times the area of competitors.
Now incumbents can't copy it without scrapping their existing infrastructure. They have hundreds of labs built the old way, doctors hired locally, and established logistics. Retrofitting would cost more than starting from scratch, and starting from scratch means abandoning their existing business.
I like how Orange Health's edge is that matching their model means incumbents must treat their current infrastructure as sunk cost. This is the kind of advantage that compounds.

Cosmix wellness a plant protein brand set to be bought by Marico for ₹300cr.
They have been bootstrapped all this while and have raised only one cheque from Namita (Shark Tank).
Again they are profitable and growing and an online first brand.
Their FY 24 revenue was ₹30 crore and ₹2.8cr in profit.
I am guessing FY 25 they would have crossed at least ₹70-80cr in overall revenue with profitability of ₹7-10cr.
What a fantastic outcome for the founders.
