A sneak peek into our tube furnace build @hackerfabindia The heating element has a coiled-coil structure inside the furnace to maximise resistance, maximising the heat radiated (I^2R)

Rushat and Abhineet just built a tube furnace and oxidised our first Si wafer @hackerfabindia The furnace reached 1100C with +-2C error - and it costed a fraction of what it would to buy it off the shelf. They are UG freshers and did this all by themselves!

Me and my friend @Abhineet_Avhad just made a tube furnace from scratch at HackerFab IITB! All we needed was 50 meters of Kanthal A1, 18 kilos of refractory cement, 12 kilos of ceramic wool, 20 kilos of steel, a quartz tube, and some silicon wafers! #semiconductor #silicon

1971, 1999, 2025... Every quarter century, a new generation in India learns what many older folks have known before... Never Trust Pakistan. Be sceptical even in the supposed 'good times'. You maybe for peace with neighbors, but understand the psyche of your neighbors, and what they want. And it's just not their army and politicians. But the common folks there who have grown up on propaganda and indoctrination against India. As history shows, all ceasefires, talks, agreements are temporary. Be ready for what may come next. We will prevail in the long term. Understand national security at all levels. Understand and appreciate the great work done by our armed forces, our scientists/engineers and diplomats. And support them in whatever way you can. #JaiHind 🇮🇳

You can demolish anything, but not truth. You can crush anything, but not spirit. You can prevent anything, but not justice. You can erase anything, but not memory. You can subjugate twenty generations, but not the twenty-first. Not the twenty-first.

This actually happened to Evernote. They took the advice of “keep talking to your customers and ship whatever they want” as the only guiding principle for product development. And what ended up happening was paying users liked it, but the product become unintuitive and feature overload for the new user. To the extent that they had to rebuild a version for the new user. Users don’t always know if they really want something. It’s your job to take the extra step to think on their behalf: whether they really need this. Or can what they ask be done through something much simpler. Or can you solve multiple problems of different users with one new redesign rather than a bunch of changes. The right principle is: “Keep talking and listening to your users, spend the additional time thinking on their behalf what they actually want, and ship that”.

Thank you New York Times. Thank you for the racial jibe & the ridicule. Thank you for doubting our abilities. Thank you for laughing at us. Today we did not knock on the door. Today, we kicked the door down. Now, go and draw a new cartoon. Go… #Chandrayaan3

There's a city in India called Pune all the residents take one hour afternoon nap, all the shops are closed between 1-4pm. People are arm chairs experts on all matters…never short on giving advice on any matter. An average extra smart Punekar can easily tell you how to solve Doklam situation or the war in Ukraine or how Trump should run his campaign. generally considered lazy Pune is … Wait a min! In how do you explain the turnout on a rainy evening? In Punekar style of saying things “Atta pani is going dokyawarun” Literally & figuratively. Tekdi is a straw ( an important one mind you!) that has broken the patience of many Punekars! One doesn’t have to be an activist really to see how badly the BB-PP road is planned & one would have to be blind (or be on PMC payroll) to not see the other badly executed (languishing) projects in Pune & still have solid faith in PMC. While the chants were about saving the tekdi, this citizen movement showed that Punekars have had it with bad governance, lack of political will to get anything done, May the powers take notice of this. #pune

Women encounter abuses of all types, I am appalled that Bharat Matrimony in their Holi campaign chose to show domestic violence as the main one during Holi. Ask any woman in India & she will tell you the clear winner of abuse at Holi ranges between inappropriate touching to sexual assault. Most likely from people you know! It’s got nothing to do with religion & everything to do with hiding behind coloured faces & being high on alcohol & or group mentality. An ideal campaign would have been of a man washing his own face off the colors & facing himself in the mirror after watching his friends inappropriately touching a friend. Also who has bequeathed the duty on brands to make campaigns that go way beyond their realm of business & if you do want to make a non provocative advertisement then hire the right agency who do basic research otherwise stick to the free templates available on the internet of wishing Holi & be done with it.

Good question... Very slow progress. The Pune Ring-Road (and new Airport) have been under discussion for two decades (across multiple CMs), with zero progress on the ground. The entire Samruddhi Marg (Nagpur - Mumbai Expressway) will get done in 8 years, from concept to completion. @sudhirmehtapune @MCCIA_Pune

You are at your productive best combined with brutal prioritization when you rejoin work after some time off from work. The only goal is to catch up in the most efficient way! Don’t know why it is so hard to be in this mode throughout.
