The mysterious material, not quite stone, not quite metal, worn but not dirty, leaving the perfect atmosphere of a place that is: VERY alien VERY ancient VERY empty

AotCR: not much complaints, I liked the snow 343 GS: Holy fuck they, if nothing else, did listen to our complaints of how they ruined the lighting and atmosphere in Anniversary. excellent work. The Library: really good rework, though felt a bit TOO watered down because of the less aggressive H3 flood AI. Two Betrayals: felt pretty much the same, again I liked the snow/outdoors a lot.

T&R (second half): what the fuck I ask again is this lighting. Why does Keyes respawn instead of mission fail if he dies? What the FUCK was that ending cutscene? Why wasn't Chief on the Spirit when everyone else hopped in? Why did the hunter shoot 10 feet above his head? What the flipity flapity FUCK was that slomo? While we're on cutscenes I forgot to complain about Halo (mis. 2)'s intro. 17 cuts of the lifepod crashing. 17. Like a c-tier Bollywood film. Why did the sliding door bust open? Why did the strapped in Marines go flying? Silent Cartographer: ol reliable, not much they can fuck up on it other than the already well discussed "allowing us to drive the warthog into the hunter area for free" and forerunner shit being too shiny.

Halo Campaign Evolved thread: Pillar of Autumn: no major complaints, other than cortana's lines being dogshit re-recorded (no Jen Taylor hate but the Weapon-style tone does NOT work with classic cortana). Halo: Forerunner shit too shiny but I did like the outdoor environment. Lighting was kinda dookie in the walled outdoor areas, enemies blend into shadows too well T&R (played up to entering the ship): WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS LIGHTING DAWG I CAN'T SEE SHIT FUCK more horrors tomorrow!
