🚨 THIS IS INSANE. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's sons could be making 3 to 5x returns on every dollar they spent buying tariff refund rights. Cantor Fitzgerald, now run by Lutnick's sons Brandon and Kyle, was buying tariff refund claims from companies at 20 to 30 cents on the dollar. The firm told clients it had "capacity to trade up to several hundred million" in these claims. They confirmed at least one $10 million trade was already executed as of July 2025. They said they expected that number to "balloon in the coming weeks." That was 9 months ago. Today those claims are worth 100 cents on the dollar. The refund portal is live, $166 billion in refunds are being processed. If Cantor bought $100 million in refund rights at 25 cents on the dollar, they spent $25 million. They now collect $100 million from the government. That is a $75 million profit. A 300% return. If they scaled to "several hundred million" as they told clients they could, the profits run into the hundreds of millions. Howard Lutnick was the architect of the tariff policy. He pushed Trump to impose them. He fought against officials who wanted to limit them. Then he left Cantor Fitzgerald to his sons and transferred his equity into a trust benefiting them. Tax free under government ethics rules. He received $360 million from the buyout. His sons positioned the firm to profit from the exact policy their father built. Their father publicly championed tariffs he knew could be struck down while his sons were buying refund claims betting they would be.

certain conditions allow you to get away with being impatient, fomo top blasting, trading without invalidation, and general sloppy execution there are times for that, when the market is all gas, pockets are lined with liquidity, and the hot ball of money is sloshing around the market we are by no means in conditions remotely close to this, and haven’t been since that Friday night when Trump launched a token, changing the dynamic of a market that had been quite healthy onchain now, more than ever, levels matter. market structure matters. invalidation matters. patience is rewarded. you plan your entry and you wait for it to hit. you enter with the trend on properly defined levels, where your invalidation is clear and the r/r is highest you pick your spots based on probabilities. not guarantees, because nothing in any market is guaranteed (crypto, equities, forex, whatever), but probabilities there are general rules to follow, and none of it is predicting. it’s a set of “if this -> then that” setups that you adapt to as the chart unfolds if this. then that. if this happens, I’ll do that. if that happens, I’ll do this. no concrete outcomes that you refuse to adapt to on the fly, no forcing your opinion on what the chart is telling you have a target of ‘x’ MC but this level just put in multiple HTF sweeps? cut and reassess to protect gains looking to enter here but the level was lost? wait for PA to start looking constructive again and buy with the trend no, this isn’t as sexy as claiming you bought the pico bottom of a falling knife, neither is it as chad to claim you sold the pico top but what taking this approach to trading does, from a levels perspective, is two fold it allows you to protect downside while also giving you a higher margin for upside, from a simple and repeatable system many will try and tell you if you can’t hold you won’t make it. bullshit. there are many different ways to make it in the market, and if you put the time in you can stack consistent wins, that over the long haul and throughout any market conditions, allows you to thrive
