🚨🚨BREAKING -- UK arms firms have been caught trying to illegally ship weaponry to Israel through Belgium.
The shipment contained "sensitive military equipment" including "lasers, sights, fire control systems, and parts for fighter jets".
It has now been seized by the Belgian authorities following an alert from Declassified, @Vredesactie, & @palyouthmvmt.

Notice that none of the EU or US leaders who spent years talking about human rights in Iran have actually asked for, demanded, or even mentioned a single human rights issue as part of any negotiations.
Everything they are willing to discuss — assuming there is even genuine interest in diplomacy at all — revolves around one thing: limiting Iran’s defensive capabilities and restricting its economic development in order to contain it, so that it cannot pose a "a threat" to Israel.
And what does "posing a threat to Israel" mean in practice? Simply being a state with a population that develops industry, builds an economy and maintains armed forces and national defence. In other words: the expectation is that Iran should remain weak, poor and defenceless, because even its normal existence is treated as a threat to a tiny but heavily armed nuclear power. THIS should be the time for those States and actors who support Human Rights to call for the inclusion of perhaps 1 element (like executions) to be added on the negotiating table. It doesn't even cross their minds.

The secrecy surrounding the decree appears calibrated, not for domestic necessity, but to spare discomfort among allies in the region, Europe and the United States. The ICJ Advisory Opinion on the Legal Consequences of the Occupation of Palestinian Territory (2024) was unambiguous. Israel is under an obligation to bring its unlawful presence to an end, unconditionally and without delay. Third States are under a corresponding duty not to aid or assist in maintaining that situation, and to cooperate to bring it to an end. Yet the response has been one of studied inaction. The Court spoke with clarity; the world replied with silence. Israel, reading that silence for what it is, has chosen not restraint, but acceleration of its colonization efforts.

Hezbollah dragged Lebanon into the war, but Israel’s right to defend itself does not justify inflicting such massive destruction. Israeli strikes killed hundreds last night, making it hard to argue that such heavy-handed actions fall within self-defence. Israeli actions are putting the U.S.-Iran ceasefire under severe strain. The Iran truce should extend to Lebanon. Hezbollah must disarm. The EU supports Lebanon’s efforts to disarm Hezbollah.
