I feel the same way. During the pandemic, I started to take great interest in my garden - learning about the right soils, sun, fertilizer (natural), etc. My garden began th thrive and it was so rewarding. It is a connection to the universe - the connected energy stream and life we all share. It is amazing how “alive” the entire garden is - talking to it, feeling it, etc. I remember teling a friend to shoot me if I ever turned into her mother - obsessed with gardening - but now i get it. It is soul connection. Everything else just feels like junk food. I shouldn’t be surprised. I had left an investment banking job to go to law school (temporary diversion) and was hiking Mt Blanc during the summer in between. I would call my boyfriend from the pay phones in the remote towns and leave messages about how beautiful itt was (and I grew up in the Rockies). He told me I always sounded high (and I don’t do drugs). The nature made me high as a kite in the most natural way. Enjoy!

I, for one the first time in my adult life, have a house with a yard in LA. Something peculiar has happened. The outside world lost all allure to me. I just want people to love to show up at my door. I think absurd thoughts like “Maybe I should adopt some old neighbor to spend time here?” “I wish it was permissible to adopt a child with some platonic neighbor on my street, to share in proximity.” As soon as I secured my being, plants, and animals, the desire to care for more expanded exponentially. The outside world has no draw for me, anymore. Not like it used to. I still oblige my commitments, and enjoy my work. But I have this incessant knowingness I’ve gone out of order. It’s like real rest for the first time. The alleviation from all this other stuff to resolve before I can get to enjoying life. Living detached from nature I look back upon as a cruelty, which is concerning, as it was only 4 months ago.

I used to get my Marlboro Lights out of those things back in the day. That weird double pull and they drop and you let the knob go and grab your pack and start packing it on the palm of your other hand… then you pull the foil and that smell hits you… Why did you post this?????

Definitely effective at grabbing your attention with the double and triple entendre (yes, phallus is the most effective!). Dick leans into the perception about lawyers. He would be fun cocktail (!!) party conversationalist. But hiring an atty from a billboard is a non-starter.

Everyone knows public polls have become political propaganda. So, now they use Poly Market as a proxy for public polling. It is/will be gamed to become propaganda. Stop reacting to polls and letting them get you anxious, pissed or dejected. Focus on living life and modeling what you believe is right.
