First they renamed roads, and I did not speak out because I was not a road.
Then they renamed cities, and I did not speak out because I was not a city.
Then they renamed stations, and I did not speak out because I was not a station.
Then they came for humans, and there was no road, city or station left to speak for me.

@ragiiing_bull Of course...precisely the reason why it was built !!! Its not a flash in the pan, its a well thought out plan

850 seats. 850 MPs.
Each guaranteed lifelong pension funded by taxpayers.
Performance optional.
Clean record optional.
Welcome to the world’s most expensive democracy.

🚨 The Indian government officially proposes increasing the number of seats in the Lok Sabha to 850. 🤯 Out of these, 815 seats will be allocated to the states. 35 seats will be reserved for UTs.

@Vtxt21 Will never happen....who will change? The same political class which gain from current law??

More than Delimitation, we need a Two-term limit for the Prime Minister’s post at the earliest
We are all seeing bad practices in Indian politics every day, such as MP/MLA poaching, misuse of agencies like ED & CBI, and reduced transparency in the election process
All this is happening because our Constitution does not set a limit on the number of terms for the highest executive post in the country, and once a person attains that position, they may do everything possible to stay in power rather than focus on the betterment of the nation
More than delimitation, we need this change ASAP 🙌

@moneygurusumit Taxpayers will be funding 300 more salary perks pension VIP treatment and much more....

🇮🇳 India wants to go from 543 to 850 Lok Sabha seats.
Each Indian MP already represents 2.5 million people.
🇬🇧 The UK? 92,000.
🇺🇸 The US? 740,000.
So we don't need more MPs.
We need better ones.
850 seats won't fix Indian democracy.
It'll just give corruption 307 new addresses.
What's your take? 👀

@mainbhiengineer AI cannot replace political class. The only profession absolutely immune. Because computer programs are based on maths, they cannot lie
English

"Number of MPs in LokSabha proposed to increase from 543 to 850"
At the time when every other organisation and sector are reducing work force with AI to increase efficiency. Our Loksabha is increasing the headcount by 56%. This is understandable because you cut jobs to save money and increase productivity but in Indian politics when productivity isn't a goal and you've taxpayers money to fund MP's luxurious and VIP lifestyle, you'll obviously increase number of MPs.
When whole world is doing layoffs due to AI, India is creating new jobs in Parliament for politicans. Vishwaguru for a reason.

@PunsterX Your question itself is wrong!! They are not journalists, neither do they claim to be !!
English

English

Meet Ananth Kumar Hegde.
Bro was a former union Minister in Modi's government & was known as Hindutva Firebrand.
Bro has now reached High Court to take down his son's name in Riots case.
Bro is saying his son is studying in Foreign and this case will affect his education.
After ruining countless children's life by pushing them to Hindutva hatred now he wants his son to be safe.
Shame on him.
