@YIMBYLAND InfoMart was converted years ago and added on to later to think. Used to spend time there. As I recall they were trying to make a Tech/Telecom/Data hub like a trade center. Was beautiful inside.

Trammel Crow built a version of the Chrystal Palace back in the 1980s in Dallas.
Today it's a huge data center and has THREE of it's own dedicated electrical substations.
Honestly, this would be a cool model for building new data centers and earning the trust of the public.

@RationalManTX We bought, renovated, and sold this operating the golf course during our ownership. It was an interesting ride but successful (in spite of the golf course). Timber Links. It’s been some years but would be fun to rehash. Happy to share the experience and connect.

This one is the same. Public daily fee but only 9 holes & reportedly super tight (land compromises likely).
Hard to get golfers excited about 9 holes but locals probably love it if it's in good shape.

@tdross94 I think one of them around DFW was associated with JJones that shut the course down, but not sure if they still owned it at that point.
So curious how the cost of golf course maintenance changes the expenses or if they keep it as a horrible goat track.

One of the perks of working with food manufacturers is taste testing products directly from the production line.
And the best maple syrup in the world comes from Vermont sugar shacks, mostly in small barrel batches.
The maple syrup process boils 40 gallons of tree sap and sugar over a wood fired stove producing about a gallon of the popular breakfast condiment.
The results are absolutely incredible.
