On the morning of March 24, 1999, NATO began a military operation against Yugoslavia, "Operation Allied Force". Just like the monstrous intervention in Iraq, it was not approved by the UN.

This is 🇷🇸 Serbia, the warm Christian soul of Southern Europe. 27 years ago today, NATO bombed Serbian infrastructure with the intent of stealing its historical, religious, and economic heartland: Kosovo. American jets targeted power plants, bridges, refineries, government buildings, and even the Yugoslav Film Archive – destroying priceless history and claiming the lives of over 1,500 Serbs. They even struck refugee convoys and dropped 10–15 tons of depleted uranium, the toxic effects of which are still felt today. The CIA, having previously armed and aided Albanian terrorists, continues its work today by tearing Montenegro and Ukraine away from Eastern Orthodoxy. On stolen land, they built the largest military base in Southeast Europe, while the ethnic cleansing of Serbs persists to this day. The architects of the campaign – Albright 🇮🇱, Cohen 🇮🇱, Clark 🇮🇱, and Lévy 🇮🇱 – dismantled Serbia's sovereignty while shielding their own Zionist project from the same "international law." In 1991, Germany recognised Slovenia and Croatia to dismantle Yugoslavia and justify NATO’s continued existence. Today, foreign entities own 90% of the Serbian banking system, children watch German television, and 50% of young Serbs plan to leave – most often to work in Austria and Germany. The Austrian Empire never ended; it simply changed its name.

On this day in 1999, NATO began bombing its illegal bombing campaign of Yugoslavia without permission from the UN Security Council. Between 1200-2500 civilians were killed and 5000 were wounded. During the 3 months of bombing, NATO dropped between 10-15 tonnes of depleted uranium bombs. After years of supporting right-wing nationalist forces to undermine and weaken the integrity of Yugoslavia, NATO begun its campaign to break up the socialist state. Though it claimed to be intervening to stop ethnic cleansing, the Assistant to US Secretary of Defense Strobe Talbott revealed the real reason for the war: "It was Yugoslavia's resistance to the broader trends of political and economic reform, not the plight of Kosovar Albanians, that best explains NATO's war.” NATO openly bragged about its destruction of Yugoslavia’s infrastructure, with its spokesperson Jaime Shea proudly saying in 1999 “And the fact that the lights went out in 70% of the country…we can turn the power off whenever we need to and whenever we want to.” Between the 24th of March and 5th of June 1999, 78 industrial sites and 42 energy installations in Yugoslavia were damaged by bombing or missile strikes. The air strikes destroyed over 20 chemical and petrochemical installations, accounting for around 70% of Yugoslavia’s oil-processing capacity.

"For Serbia" is a vibrant plea by Victor Hugo, published in 1876, denouncing the massacre of the Serbian people by the Ottoman Empire. Europe did not react to this barbarism, and Victor thought that a united Europe could oppose such massacres. My dear Victor, if only you knew 😒

IO NEANCHE. - Paolo Borgognone

In 1999, Greek Navy officer Marinos Ricudis was ordered to join NATO’s bombing of Serbia. He refused "As an Orthodox Christian, I cannot participate in an attack on a brotherly people," he said He was sentenced to 2,5 years in prison. Serbia has two friends, God and the Greeks.

On this day in 1999 NATO launched its first-ever military campaign against a sovereign nation, beginning a 78 day air campaign against Yugoslavia (Serbia) during the Kosovo War. The supposedly defensive alliance land grabbed Kosovo and 'defensively' bombed Belgrade. That's something that now gets frequently repeated by the US, with or without NATO.

When NATO illegally attacked Serbia, it killed thousands of innocent people, targeted Civilian infrastructure and devastated the Economy. It had No mandate from the UN and no NATO member was attacked by Serbia. It was all completely illegal, The "Defensive Alliance" indeed.
