@jess_presso I wanted to play this on console. And both Series X and S need patches. There should not be dips into the 20s on Series X. Textures look muddy and bland. And yeah the controls are wonky. That doesn't scream $69.99 to me.

This is a genuine curiosity as I can’t put the game down, but what part of Crimson Desert are people not vibing with? Is it the combat? The UI? Slow burn quests?

@Grummz It's because that even if the game is mediocre slop, it's still better than what most studios are putting out right now. There are no more yearly AC drops. GTA 6 is months away. And there's really no new open worlds to explore.

There is a reason why you see Crimson Desert posted everywhere you turn on X. It's because, despite everything, Crimson Desert is the hottest game property right now and there is a LOT of interest in this game.
