@MCCCANM My only go-around in a “passenger” airplane was in my ROTC days and we were flying to Cape Canaveral one weekend. Our aircraft: C-131 outfitted for exec travel. Crew told us a F-16 pilot declared emergency and we aborted on final approach.

2nd go-around of the year… WX at SFO isn’t great & they’re on staggered approaches. ATC got us too close to the jet in front (landing on parallel runway), or someone didn’t clear our runway in time. Tower ordered a go-around. Could be worse, at least Navy didn’t shoot us down.

@JessicaWeinkle @MattDursh Bridge costs are not in my part of design. Our Unit will determine how high a bridge should be over a stream, the number and length of spans, and location of bents. We pass our design to the structural engineers to do the actual design. Another group creates the cost estimates.
