It would be a regional problem. NK may start threatening SK and Japan in the next few weeks, since they support Ukraine. There might be an escalation. Putin wants to arm NK. Japan could remain neutral but their support for Ukraine poses a risk. Japan has a dispute with Russia over the Kuriles.
