Our soil type is predominantly sand & the organic matter content is low. 8 years ago we decided to try and improve them. This year we resampled & on average our OMs have increased by 0.5%. This might not sound like a lot but it's a step in the right direction. #WorldSoilDay

Are we heading for a severe shortage of people on the front line of tillage? The industry of late is commenting that suitable candidates are not forthcoming in jobs like agronomists. Certainly not an ideal scenario when trying to reach EU Farm to Fork targets etc.
