Trump himself set the stage for the chaotic withdrawal by negotiating directly with the Taliban, excluding the Afghan government, and releasing 5,000 Taliban prisoners. He reduced U.S. troops to a bare minimum without any exit strategy, leaving Biden with an impossible choice, restart the war or adhere to Trump’s reckless timeline.
Regarding disaster relief, his accusation that the federal government and North Carolina’s Democratic governor are withholding aid from Republican areas is pure fabrication.
Federal disaster declarations are in place, and aid is being distributed to all affected communities. These divisive, baseless claims only fuel unnecessary chaos.
