Gov't wants to increase Pay As You Earn (PAYE) to 40%
If your monthly salary is 2,000,000 Ugx,
2,000,000 X 0.40 = 800,000
2,000,000 - 800,000 = 1,200,000
Meaning your take-home will be Ugx 1,200,000
You can as well calculate your take-home based on your salary. 😂😂

Nze, there’s a guy who hurt me so badly in 2023. We were supposed to go to Kigali together because I wanted him to meet my sisters. Three days before departure, he started ghosting me. He even relocated to some unknown place. I looked for him, hoping something was wrong, only to find him at his mother’s shop in town just chilling. I went to Kigali alone. After a few weeks, we broke up, and the main reason was that in his family, they’re not allowed to date Rwandans or associate with them in any way. Up to now before I go to bed, I take 10 seconds to first fear men.
