💯 certain that Arsenal will win the 2025/2026 Premier League title - WITH GAMES TO SPARE! I will deactivate if this doesn't happen. The loss to Southampton was a surprise, at most. And just like the League Cup final defeat, doesn't erase all the hard work put in so far.

Can’t believe we let Ayden Heaven go to Man United. Clear quality, clear potential, and he would’ve slotted in nicely behind Gabriel. Feels like we don’t rate our own prospects sometimes.

@sirvregas @ChumaNnoli Any justification for this animalistic response? I'm an Arsenal fan, yet all I read from Chuma's post is nothing but FACT! We dropped needless points to Wolves, Brentford and Bournemouth not because the players are bad. It was a mentality thing. We showed it in the last 3 games

@ChumaNnoli This is my problem with rival fans...just deliberately sound stupid because you don't want arsenal to win the league. I guess if it was arsenal who drew with Everton you would have called them weak and bottlers. This was a must win game for City and you are here talking trash.

Manchester City staging that late comeback to score twice and get a point at the end is what has made them win multiple league titles with Pep Guardiola. They may not have eventually won the game for want of time but the Cityzens ensured they didn’t lose. That’s a mentality Arsenal need if the Gunners want to be the best in England. Playing good football is great but having a mentality to fight back from adversity, and when the pressure is at its peak, is as important.

@NelsonWalex Does "SLOWING THINGS DOWN" actually stop one from giving a pass where it's due? It's good you even dropped a photo but you clearly couldn't describe the scene. Eze got that ball after White emerged from a ruffle with two Spurs players, hence Arteta's instruction.

Ødegaard’s style is exactly what Arteta wants, and this moment explains it. Just before the pass, Arteta is clearly urging Eze to slow things down and recycle possession. Eze ignores the instruction—and we end up going 2–0 up. That’s the difference. Ødegaard likely turns back and keeps the ball, but Eze takes the risk and plays forward. Sometimes, you need players who can spot opportunities—even when the manager prefers control.

Arteta’s selection had been frustrating, weird and parochial and if we kept quiet as people like you, MLS will never have played against Fulham. Arteta would have played his selection again, we would have drawn or lost to Fulham and that top of the league you’re celebrating would have evaporated. “Evil persist because good men stay quiet”. The team is first today despite Arteta. No disrespect.

It's quite funny how; 1. Chelsea are currently mid-table in the PL, but their fans are somewhat feeling upbeat about their season after reaching the FA Cup final, even though Man City are clear favourites to win the title 2. Man United fans seem more than happy to finish third in the League and are more than ready to celebrate Bruno Fernandes breaking the assist record like a trophy But Arsenal fans are feeling downbeat even though their team is currently top of the League and have put themselves in a good position to reach the Champions League final for the first time since 2006 and only the second time in the club's history? I feel sorry for most of y'all! You let the media, pundits and rival fans, whom if need be would literally fast and pray for their teams to be in your position, to gaslight you and then you transfer a negative energy to your team and players instead of backing and pushing them to do what has NEVER been done in the club's history. At this stage of the season, who cares how we play? I don't! There's never been a time in the history of football when playing a 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid in a UCL semi-final first leg was a bad result, neither does being in contention for the PL title with four games left to play. If at the start of the season, I was told that by May, we would be fighting for the UCL and PL, of course I'd have gladly accepted it! Doesn't it surprise you that Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa are being praised for their efforts so far in the Conference and Europa Leagues, but Arsenal are getting mocked for playing a 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid? Same team that knocked Barcelona out of the competition? A team that has NEVER lost a UCL knockout stage game to any English team? You go to the comment section of every post made on the official Arsenal pages on social media and all you see is negativity and pessimism 🤦🏾‍♂️ Y'all better get your acts together and spur this team on, we're so close to making history. Let's do it together! 💪🏾

@Alarsenalnews_ I agree that Odegaard won't make that Eze pass to Gyökeres. I can't recall him ever making that kind of through ball pass. Eze has done it quite a few memorable times already

I think going forward we should agree that Eberechi Eze plays the number 10 position better than Martin Odergaard. That pass to spot Viktor Gyokeres's run who later found Bukayo Saka to score our second goal you can't see it from Martin Odergaard. I know you will say that Martin Odergaard is better because he presses more than him but I believe the number 10 should possess the creative aspect more than pressing one. We have been asking for a midfield trio of Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Martin Odergaard but others thought it can't work claiming Eberechi Eze doesn't press but after watching Myles, Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze trio I think it should be our starting midfield going forward. Eberechi Eze makes us play better than Martin Odergaard when he's in the midfield. I always tell people it was a mistake benching Eze for 5 consecutive games back then when Martin Odergaard came back from injury and I think it also contributed to the situation we are in now.

🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Favorite team to win the Premier league; “Look, I’m an Arsenal man but at some point, you have to be honest with yourself, This season it’s gone. And it didn’t just disappear they let it slip. If you are an Arsenal fan or player you should be preparing for next season already, because this one? It’s still pointing to Man city direction. We had the chance. We had the momentum. But in the second half of this season, we started slacking. You cannot afford to blink when you are racing against a machine like Manchester City. You can’t go into the 2nd half of a season like that and start losing focus. Small details, defensive mistakes, all of that adds up. And in this league, you don’t get second chances. I love this club. It hurts me to say it. But I’d rather be honest with you than sell you a dream that is going to end in tears in three weeks. The title is gone. Pep team are not in the business of giving favors. They need to use this as a lesson. Because being in the race is one thing, finishing the job is something else entirely.

🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry questions the Captaincy of Martin Ødegaard after his performance against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano "I couldn’t help but notice something worrisome about Martin Ødegaard tonight at the Metropolitano against Atlético Madrid… I watched him very closely. He started, he had one shot in the 15th minute, the one where Gyökeres barrels down the left, holds off Llorente and puts a perfect cutback on a plate for him – onrushing in a dangerous area, maybe 10 yards out but he misplaces the shot, doesn’t even test Oblak properly. and then? Nothing. Invisible. No drive, no command, no leadership from the captain when Arsenal needed it most. And what happens? At the 56th minute – bang – he’s removed, taken off for Eze right as Julián Álvarez scores the penalty to make it 1-1. Hook him at half-time? No, they waited until the equaliser, but the message was clear: he wasn’t at the level required on the night. This isn’t just one bad game. Look at his previous matches this season – too many times we’ve seen the same thing. Subbed off early, struggling to influence, output way below what you expect from an Arsenal captain. He’s a good technician, sure, but when the big moments come in the biggest games, where’s the fire? Where’s the mentality to drag the team through? At this level, for a club pushing for the Premier League and the Champions League final, the captain has to be the one who makes everyone else rise. Right now, Ødegaard isn’t that guy."

Are you seeing what am seeing ? Lmaoooo I know you've spotted it perfectly and it's so glaring. - Marca (Spanish): Headlines of how Atletico Madrid can make history tomorrow. - Mirror Sport (English): Arsenal go into a Champions League semi-final and the headline is… "SIMEONE A PAIN IN THE GRASS" and "Gunners fear dirty tricks." Not Arsenal's quality. Not Arteta's game plan. Not the fact that Arsenal are in a Champions League semi-final — which is a massive achievement. The English media's chosen angle is fear and victimhood before a ball is even kicked. Atlético get a war cry. Arsenal get a panic attack. And this is the same media that will turn around after the game and either: - Credit the result to Simeone's genius if Atlético win, or - Say Arsenal "rode their luck" if Arsenal win The double standard is not even subtle anymore. Spanish press builds their team up. English press tears Arsenal down — even on the eve of a semi-final. And the funny thing is that some of our fans will buy into this stup!d idea. Quite Pathetic. Anyway, whatever the weather, North London forever COYG

I am NOT a Gyökeres stan. I am NOT a player stan. I am an Arsenal fan and I love this club with every fiber of my existence. I've seen enough to know that Gyökeres is way better than Havertz as a striker. He's not been platfomed properly this season and yet he has 18 goals. Not sure you guys understands how crazy that is. No striker under Arteta has scored this number of goals in a season and yet you want me to believe he's not good enough? Think again. I'm not all for aesthetics, just produce the numbers and so far so good he's done well at that. If the team had played to his strengths and he's been left to complete 90 minutes in most of our games, he'll be well on course for a 30 goal season. He is not the problem of the team and you guys need to start cutting him some slack

The Martin Odegaard conundrum. Odegaard’s physical levels have dropped even further this season due to constant injuries. There’s also a long-standing issue with his execution — his passing, weight of pass, pass selection, and shooting. He’s visibly limited, yet at the same time, he remains one of Arsenal’s most technical midfielders, their most reliable buildup outlet, and one of the only players capable of carrying the team up the pitch. That says a lot about how low the overall technical level of Arsenal’s midfield currently is. Zubimendi and Declan Rice lack the ability to consistently evade pressure in the first phase and connect midfield to attack, so Odegaard ends up doing all of that whenever he’s on the pitch. Arsenal need to phasing him out next season, and they have to be absolutely spot-on with his replacement. It has to be a midfielder with elite technical quality, someone who can receive and turn under pressure in the first phase, progress the ball vertically through passing, connect midfield to attack, and still hold their own physically in midfield duels.
