The “Reflection Pool” wasn’t designed by American architect Henry Bacon a hundred years ago to look like a swimming pool. It’s designed to have a darkened characteristics that has reflective qualities to reflect the monuments. That way, the Washington Monument is reflective to you when at the Lincoln Memorial, and when at the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial is reflective to you. It’s designed to enhance the grandeur of monuments, create an illusion of reflection, and inclusion of expansive space of unity. He’s a tacky vulgar person that vulgarizes everything he touches. @docpjo @bennyjohnson I'll grant you, that WAS a logical decision. But for all the variables to come together to cause such devastation required fraud or negligence. As to the current reservoir, clearly, they're not working on it. Companies usually leave their equipment on-site. We see none there.

@bennyjohnson The reservoir was being repaired. Every engineering and climate expert said that December and January were the best months to repair, as there usually aren't major fires after the start of November and before March. So, that was a very educated and logical decision.

AB Hernandez -- a BOY -- finished first in the girls Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump at last week's CIF Souther Section Masters Meet. This meet brought together all the top finishers in the Southern Section Division Meets the prior week. The Masters is all the best track athletes from the LA Metro area -- tens of thousands of GIRLS competing against one BOY. Hernandez swept the three girls jumping events. Only 1 GIRL even finished in the Top 10 of two events. None were in the top 10 of all 3. Only 1 GIRL even competed in both the High Jump and Triple Jump. AB Hernandez won both.
