@LootBndt ... Although I really like the randomness of the current design. However, depending on the type of game, going back to explored tiles would be preferrable.

@LootBndt This can be taken in sooo many interesting directions. You could make it so you can choose to move to an adjacent tile if your roll is greater than the tile's and it would open up the possibility of defining different terrain types (like: glue is 6 because it's difficult terrain)

Sharing an indie game is hard. It is tough to captivate people's attention. Because of this, us indie devs kind of rely on youtubers and streamers to cover our game. Thankfully for us @VinnyVinesauce just told us he would be making a video about Panthalassa, thank you so much!

@r1kgames the mechanic is nice but having the heal makes it unbalanced. Maybe you could give it to a set of "dark arts" spells where you can use them for MP and if it consumes it, it starts draining HP. This way, you wouldn't be able to simply heal bc MP is depleted and heal isn't "dark"

Had an idea for an item that lets you expend HP instead of MP when your MP runs out, but casting heal would really make the item broken… trying to think if theres a way to balance it without just making a special condition like can’t cast heal using it 🤔 #indiedev #gamedev #rpg
