I made a video yesterday about my brand and some of the challenges I go through building it. Had a lot more to say but had to limit it to one minute because the grant I’m applying for said one minute. I really hope I win, I need that money like crazyyy! .

If I touch N100m today, there’s absolutely no way I am ever going to be poor again. There are too many financial instruments to invest N100m in for me to ever become poor again. • Treasury Bills • FGN Bonds • Equity Funds • Loans/Usury • Real Estate Funds • Commercial Paper • Money Market Funds If you ever go broke after touching 100m naira, you’re just an unfortunate person.

Don’t marry people whose value systems are drastically different from your own. Two people should agree on the definitions of certain important things to make their relationship successful. Learn to stand up for yourself in front of ANYONE. Parents, in laws, bosses, any one that tries to demean you. Stand up for yourself. Record proofs of injustice. This is for men & women. Seek therapy if you are dealing with difficult feelings. It will equip you to see things more clearly.

Overwatering kills your plants, and overcaring kills your relationships. Someone who overcares is also someone who overthinks, overfeels, and overstresses. Overcaring is the act of losing your sense of individuality and self-respect in someone's life. Do better. Don't overdo it.

The hardest relationship battles are not always cheating or lack of love. Sometimes, it’s one person begging for reassurance while the other thinks “I’m here, isn’t that enough?” One keeps speaking up about their needs. The other gets frustrated because they feel nothing they do is ever appreciated. In the end, both people feel misunderstood in the same relationship. Who do you think gets exhausted first?

1. Learn cybersecurity now. That skill will change your life for good. The field still has few skilled people, so get a professional certification and sell your services aggressively. Learn with platforms like Coursera and Udemy. 2. 30 percent of your income must go strictly into savings. Commit to this for at least 10 years and you will see a massive difference. 3. Buy a car before you even think of building a house. The connections, approvals, trust, and opportunities that come with owning a car are impossible to get from a house. Especially if you are into business, a car puts you far ahead of your peers who are still jumping buses and climbing okada. People rush to build houses because they are less informed. 4. Instead of buying one plot of land for 10 million naira and spending 90 million naira to build a house, buy 10 pieces of land and hold them for 10 to 15 years. You can easily make 500 million naira or far more, depending on the location. 5. Not everybody will make it in business, but many will win through smart investments. Invest in government securities, money market funds, stocks, and land. 6. If you are in your 20s or 30s, forget about building a house right now. Rent a good place and invest 3 to 5 million naira in mutual funds. That single move can cover your rent for years. Take the money you wanted to waste on a house, put it into business. If you do not know how to run a business, buy lands in developing areas and invest the rest in money market funds. In 10 to 15 years the results will blow your mind. Bonus tip: If you have rich friends who can lend you up to 100 million naira that they do not need urgently, invest it in mutual funds or government securities through your bank for one year. Collect the 18 to 20 million naira return, return the principal to your friend, and repeat the process. Stop trading your future for temporary pride. Stack assets aggressively. Invest first, build later, and build bigger. The compound effect is real. Start today. Above all, love God.

Also, if you're buying any iPhone 14 or older, just know that it's not new. The biggest mistake you can make is telling the seller you want a brand new iPhone 11, 12, 13, or 14. They will gladly take advantage of your ignorance, package a used phone in a carton, and sell it to you at a very high price. There are no brand new iPhone 11, 12, 13, or 14 units left in the market from Apple. Anything you see in stores now is a fairly used or refurbished imported phone from countries like the UK, China, or the US. Don’t make the mistake of telling the seller you need a new one. Above all, love God.
YUA@creative_yua

Let me share another hack: If you're buying a used iPhone (from 14 upwards), and it has a physical SIM tray, it's most likely been altered/converted. Starting from the 14 series, iPhones for the US market use only e-SIMs. So, it's always important to confirm which country's version you're buying. To know if the iPhone is a US version, check your model number in settings. If it ends in LL/A, then it's US. Some vendors dubiously add the physical SIM tray because that's what sells faster. Be vigilant when you're buying an iPhone and always talk to someone that has enough knowledge about it, or just do your research.
