Good morning.
First of all thank you almighty God for another year on this earth . it’s always been by your mercy and your grace.
Secondly, to everyone who took out time to send a wish or prayer for me , all the money in the world could never replace you all. I love you all individually and as a CREW. 👨🏽✈️

As I was driving between Accra and Lome yesterday and listening to an audiobook about warfare, I started wondering about the last time I had a proper physical fight.
At UNIBEN, there was only one answer to physical altercations: both parties face expulsion. It was drummed into us so much that we never tried fighting openly.
Secret fights happened in the sports complex under the guise of martial arts sparring and boxing matches. There were also very violent clashes between secret societies, but they were rare and extreme.
I got into a fight with a guy who was stealing books outside our class during exams once. He gave me a headbutt, and I punched him silly. He grabbed my shirt and tore it. We were both almost expelled for it. I was lucky that the dean saw my results and decided I was better off in school. He let us off with a warning.
The last proper fight without a referee was with my younger brother, when we were both teenagers. I struggled hard to prevail after I had been beating him easily for years. Dude had grown up and caught up. He even grew bigger and taller than me—a full 6-inch height gap. I stopped fighting him and respected myself. The guy used to work on construction sites to get away from home in rebellion. He could have beaten me silly 🤣😂😂
I never enjoyed fighting, but I enjoyed watching boxing and wrestling. I registered at a boxing gym in Accra in February 2020. The pandemic happened immediately after. I guess God didn't see fighting in my future, and I am happy not to need to fight.
