@BLUEwillie You’re probably right but unless he’ll be on significantly less than Young was on it doesn’t make sense to me! I just hope it’s not another Fabian Delph.

The Walker deal suggests to me that we're still limited by PSR, so he's an affordable temporary fix whilst we spend big on attackers. He'll do a job this year and we can assess again next Summer. Not ideal, but it's where we are thanks to the years of miss management of the club

@BLUEwillie @EllBretland Yes, it’s true. Drew at Goodison and then got beat in the replay at The Hawthorns. It was during a power crisis and a petrol shortage. Speed restricted to 50mph on the motorways & WBA hired a generator to power the floodlights.

Just read something fascinating that when Everton played West Brom in 1974, it was technically ‘illegal’ to charge for admission on a Sunday and so you instead bought a teamsheet and that got you into Goodison? Never knew that if true. Learning so much this season.

@MonMatharu @cholatera State pensions have always been taxed. But usually they’re covered by the tax free Personal Allowance. The fact that the PA has been frozen for a few years is the real problem.

@cholatera State Pension should never be taxed. Pensioners have paid into it. Others have paid into company/private pensions also and because these people decided to provide extra in later life should now not be penalised. Why not stop giving benefits to 4 wives married to same person
