@SendNutes Regardless your OP was pretty plainly saying "oh people who don't like cigs just don't smoke, they don't push for bans" regardless of the reason for the ban
English

@SendNutes Smoking anything is going to be carcinogenic (albeit weed is significantly less than cigs) but a big part of the campaign against cigs was specifically that they stunk
English

Are you like 14?? There was absolutely a huuuuuge push to ban cigarettes and anti-cig campaigns, etc
It's just not as common anymore because people don't really smoke cigs as commonly
Ra 𓅊@SendNutes
People who don’t like alcohol don’t drink it. People who don’t like cigarettes don’t smoke them. People who don’t like weed advocate for a total ban for everyone. If you ask them why, they’ll tell you it smells bad and it made their uncles friends daughters boyfriends grandmas brother throw up one time.. Make it make sense

@NitramFrancis @OneHipNinja @KeruboSk Is he still relatively young? I imagine had I been diagnosed when I was in school I probably would have dismissed it as well. It wasn't until I got in my 30s and realized what was going on, that I went for testing. There might also be other underlying causes for his behavior
English

@RazIsPro @OneHipNinja @KeruboSk I appreciate you're not diagnosing..
Demand avoidance and rejection sensitivity can cause mayhem.
But it happens when asking about things hes interested in.
Very unpredictable.
He was diagnosed 5 years ago but refuses to accept it.
Thsts the main issue,as I see it
English

ADHD brains often rely on stress to create focus, but stress is also physically and emotionally uncomfortable.
When there’s no pressure, it’s hard to get the “start signal” for tasks.
When pressure finally shows up like deadlines or consequences, it triggers urgency chemicals that make action possible.
But those same chemicals also create anxiety, overwhelm, and mental overload. So the thing that finally helps you function is also the thing that feels awful.
kelly@kellytheboss7
ADHD is needing pressure to function then hating pressure
English

@NitramFrancis @OneHipNinja @KeruboSk Possibly? Though it sounds more like traditional ACTUAL anger than what I'm talking about, but I'm no psychiatrist or anything so take whatever I say with a grain of salt. I know adhd can make you irritable when you're tasked to do something you don't want to
English

@RazIsPro @OneHipNinja @KeruboSk Apology accepted and I appreciate how you explain how you employ what we call anger to solve problems.
With my son I see him become spontaneously sullen and whal appears to be anger follows.
He can get verbally and physically aggressive.
Dues this fit your framing?
