See, one of my issues with Korra is that the show keeps telling you she's a powerful and skilled bender, and then she does retarded shit constantly. Like either be consistent with everyone reminding her that she's stupid, or make her actually good at stuff. Aang was legitimately creative with his bending constantly, particularly airbending, he was basically never just doing the punchy kicky "I throw my element at you" shit, he was always doing something interesting.
