@jwwalter1 @WONF4W @jwwalter1 Fair point on Sting and Flair. Meltzer was probably too narrow saying "only Bret." But the broader point about Hogan playing a character vs. others treating it as craft still holds up.

@RingsideFeed @WONF4W I, he wasn’t then not one. Sting, Arn Anderson and Flair are the most obvious examples of another but there were others. If he meant WWF, Savage wasn’t all character and Hogan really wasn’t asked to work, but he could and did in Japan
