@WallStreetApes It's ironic because if you don't like data centers, you're actually the problem. You're the one that that is demanding all the data.

New startup company will put ‘Mini Data Centers’ on the side of residential homes all over America Companies Nvidia and PulteGroup are patterning with SPAN, “A major U.S home builder is now making small fractional data centers, or they call them nodes that can be put on the side of residential homes.” “These could negate the need to build as many hyperscalers and AI cloud providers Just tap into the node network like a regular data center now SPAN, collaborated with NVIDIA using its technology in the system span claims it can install 8,000 of these units about six times faster and at five times lower cost than the construction of a typical centralized 100 megawatt data center of the same size.” In return for letting this company put a mini data center on the side of your home, you’ll get a $150 credit on your electricity bill In some locations you could get free electricity and internet

@WallStreetApes Yeah, not many will bother putting this low rent POS on the side of their house for just 150 credit 😂 maybe some would convert their homes into data centers and live in top of them if it pays all the mortgage and taxes 😂

@WallStreetApes Red states have cities that are busy and have the same social ills as the blue state cities. Sounds like she moved to a more rural area, which in blue states also tend to be the way she described

American finally did it. She left a Blue state for a Red state “My husband and I made the leap of faith to escape our blue state of Washington, which has been the best blessing of our life and move to Wyoming — I've realized is since moving here, you don't realize how crazy this toxic bubble that you live in for so long, because it's such normalcy, until you actually are able to get away from it and get out of that bubble and see how insane everything really is” “Living in Wyoming — It's Sunday today. Everything is closed. People are doing yard work, spending time with their family, going to church — it's the way that it's supposed to be, in my opinion. It's the way that it's supposed to be. Everybody here is hardworking neighborly. It is just such a different pace of life. Don't realize how toxic of an environment you're living in. This is the moral of the story. And I swear, moving out of a blue state into a red state is now becoming like my personality because it's soul-giving. It's soul-giving” 60% of people moving state to state are moving from Blue states to Red states We don’t have to live in crime and rampant rent cities but the homeless. Stop voting blue

@dariopy @dannycantalk @btc_kiel Living in a building with a garage underground gives you access to parking, although in NYC it’s harder to come by. While in SF you could have a TH with a garage in a walkable area with transit access, we did street parking in SF and NYC.

I do not want a walkable city. I do not want trains. I do not want busses. I want a car that can take me anywhere I want at any time. I don't want to be dependent on transit schedules. I want to choose who I'm traveling with, rather than going for luck of the draw. I want to be able to control my own climate while traveling. I want to be guaranteed a comfortable seat. I want somewhere to keep my things during a day out instead of having to carry everything with me. I want to buy and take home loads of groceries too big to carry without having to trouble myself with delivery services. I want to go through drive thrus. I want to be halfway home from work and impulsively decide to go to a restaurant on the other side of town and just change direction immediately. I want to drive around a new city to take in more than I could on foot or on a fixed route. I want to do road trips where we make up our journey as we go. I want to explore my own city at will without any particular plan. I want to visit small towns out of reach of even the most expansive proposed public transit systems. Essentially, I want freedom.

@KaspaGoku @Kirjakulov @dannycantalk @btc_kiel NYC is big, if going between far apart areas of diff boroughs and needing to use multiple subway lines and buses, driving is still more efficient and extra toll expense offsets multiple fares if you have 5 ppl in your car

@Kirjakulov @mengde_pm @dannycantalk @btc_kiel We don’t close a large chunk of the city to all traffic except special vehicles or a few residential permit holders. Some weekends NYC closes one of the major avenues to car traffic for various parades, fairs, or bike events. But it’s not tenable for the workweek days

@Kirjakulov @mengde_pm @dannycantalk @btc_kiel European cities deliberately close some of their areas to car traffic (except special permits) due to older narrow roads and too many tourists. We do not have this problem in the USA. Example: touristy NYC areas still have roads with cars, we have small pedestrian islands too

@Kirjakulov @dannycantalk @btc_kiel In the USA most our big cities are both.. we don’t have many old historical centers inaccessible to cars or by special permit only like Europe. Our cities have grids of car friendly roads, while also having sidewalks and slow areas or pedestrian “islands”. We have buses and metro

@dannycantalk @btc_kiel No such city exists. You either have human friendly, or car friendly. NEVER both.

@dannycantalk @btc_kiel I’d call them car “accessible”, not centric. A city that has walkability, bike trails and transit but also roads to handle car traffic, parking garages underground, loading zones next to backs of buildings. To have options to walk or to drive when it’s a hardship to walk is best

@dannycantalk I want this in addition to having attractive, human scale walkability, so that when I don’t need to carry loads, transport kids or go far distances I could walk places. Randomly change directions and find smth interesting in every area. Not worry about parking, drinking, etc

@ReadThinkTweet2 Wang has long spoken against the currently popular starvation fad, and does not follow it. And--while she isn't the athlete she used to be--she's still physically active. And while I don't choose to have procedures, I don't think there should be an age limit for having them done.

@Ramji_lll @OliLondonTV Not 20yr old.. there is crepey skin she is trying to hide. Just a lot less of it than a typical 60-smth, not to mention ton a woman after the 2 decades of menopause. Maybe also hard core hormones in addition to plastic surgery, lasers, red light, body treatments and makeup
