@Reader404040

I would encourage reading of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. I am deeply disturbed by cognitive dissonance and the suppression of robust debate.

I think two things are true: 1) Hurts deserves to be ranked higher if you take into account what he has accomplished. He’d be correct to feel slighted 2) This is probably roughly where he would go in a QB draft if all QBs were available I think the first one is ultimately more important
SPORTSRADIO 94WIP@SportsRadioWIP

SHOCKING: NFL executives, coaches and scouts rank Jalen Hurts ranked as the 17th best QB (in Tier 6). 😳 Where should Hurts be ranked?

From @TheAthleticFC: Developing into a top soccer player requires some degree of privilege in the U.S., as it is expensive. But the primary reason that the U.S. doesn’t produce world-class men’s soccer players boils down to one word: culture. nyti.ms/4fwfXee

@HistoryBoomer They are also naturally smarter. Gosh everyone is afraid of this reality. No one is afraid to say blacks are faster and can jump higher

I went to Stuyvesant, as did my son. It's a great school! The high number of Asian kids is partly because Asian families send their kids to prep classes so they can do better on the admission test. A lot of family hustle to give their children a shot at the American dream.
Asad🗽🍎@AsadFromNYC

"In addition to the three Black students, Stuyvesant's freshman class includes three Native American students, 21 Latino students, 39 multiracial students, 133 white students and 534 Asian students." gothamist.com/news/just-3-bl…

@JeromeAdamsMD Blacks are 13% of the US population. They're 70% of the NBA, 50% of the NFL and 46% of the USMNT. It's an interesting observation.

As a Black doctor living in the Midwest, I’m used to being (significantly) in the minority most of the time. That’s why it was so striking to me how overrepresented players of African descent are in the world’s biggest sporting event - even for countries like Norway & Switzerland (not to mention France). Don’t believe me? Here’s the data @grok found on the #WorldCup2026 quarterfinal teams: • France: 81% African descent players vs 5% pop • England: 58% vs 4% • Switzerland: 42% vs 2% • Belgium: 35% vs 3.5% • Norway: 8% vs 2.5% • Spain: 8% vs 1.5% • Morocco: ~8% vs ~5% • Argentina: 0% vs ~<2% Thoughts? #worldcupknockout #Worldcup2026

@wil_da_beast630 sadly a small percentage of black people do a great deal of damage. I think they are like 5-10 percent of SF population and half of all murders. higher percentage for robberies

Fun fact: Most “cowboys” were Black men, their white counterparts were called “cattlemen” the term “cowboy” comes from when “boy” was used as a racial epithet for Black men. Over time this original meaning got lost & cowboys got white washed.
AFRICAN & BLACK HISTORY@AfricanArchives

One in every four cowboys was believed to be a Black man released from slavery despite the stories told in popular books and movies although the most famous cowboys of the old west were white. Some notable cowboys! A THREAD

I’ve personally spoken with people from three separate organizations that previously employed Candace Owens, and all of them described the same pattern: narcissistic, condescending toward colleagues, and constantly needing everything to revolve around her. These conversations happened separately, over a period of four months. When the same story follows someone everywhere they go, maybe the problem is not always everyone else. Maybe it’s her.

Black Americans number roughly 50 million people. If we were our own nation, we'd rank around the 30th most populous country on Earth. 🌍 That's more people than Canada, Spain, Argentina, or Poland—and nearly twice Australia's population. Yet in America, we're still a minority. That's how humongous the United States really is.
