🚨🗣 @JamesPearceLFC on Adam Wharton: "The Crystal Palace midfielder is certainly admired by recruitment staff. He’s Premier League proven and excellent in possession. Aged 22, he fits the profile but I wonder if Liverpool need someone who offers more physical presence." #LFC nytimes.com/athletic/72548…

We look at the leading appearance-makers that are currently in the first-team squad. Adam Learoyd went past 450 appearances this season, with the captain now on 464. Leigh Bedwell went past 400. The goalkeeper is now on 416 appearances. Luke Carnell is now just one appearance shy of 350 for Didcot Town. Cam McNeill went past 250 this season, and he's now just eight short of 300. Sam Barder is next with 290 appearances. The likeable midfielder spent much of the season on loan at Wantage Town.

As someone who errs on the side of caution when integrating young players into the Liverpool first team… I’d start Rio tonight. Understand the reservations, but he is the one the one thing that we have not been all season: fearless.

@SkySportsNews Does anyone really think Brobbey doesn’t know exactly what the outcome will be when he pushes Romero?

Relegated. Was on the cards sadly for sometime. Gone full circle and plenty of travelling next season ahead. Massive reset needed.

Dreadful. Comes from Liverpool's own throw which Gomez makes a mess of. Semenyo runs in behind Van Dijk to score.

🚨⚠️ @JamesPearceLFC: The decision-makers at FSG remain fully supportive of Arne Slot, believing he has been dealt a difficult hand this season. Other mitigating factors include serious injuries, the declining output of established stars and summer signings needing time to adjust to their new surroundings. Slot has undoubtedly made mistakes. FSG is not blind to that. However, the decision-makers still retain faith in him and believe, with the right additions this summer, Slot can turn things around.

Used my (coming soon) non league football club management product Clubhouse to decipher if the Non League Day promotion was a success. clubhousefootball.co.uk Below is the analysis: 🤝 The Promotion: Free Entry to all fans who got through turnstiles before 2PM 🧠 The Theory: More people coming in earlier would potentially spend more on F+B because of the goodwill of the free ticket and shift our spend window forward by 30-60 minutes ✏️ The Summary: We drove far more revenue in the pre kick off window than we usually do. Average here is £5,200 but yesterday we drove £6,952 before 3PM. £1,736 positive difference. I wasn’t there so can’t comment really on the “feeling” this brought to the ground, but from conversations with staff and wider club team, the atmosphere was building much earlier and created the right feeling for a big game. This is important for first time visitors at the club - all of whom I hope had a great time yesterday, be them a home or away supporter. Worth saying we had our second highest attendance of the season (1,443) and obviously we lost out on a lot of ticket revenue that makes up about 30% of our average Saturday match-day revenue. Yesterday we only did £1,700 of ticket revenue (£10 per adult ticket £6 concession) which shows only 12% of our total revenue. Basingstoke last week with 1,100 fans we did £5,388 of ticket revenue (32% of the takings) Despite lost takings on the gate, we sold out of food and mostly out of drink from all outlets which is a great sign and (fingers crossed 🤞🏽) great practise for the play-offs. Yesterday was our biggest taking on drink since Sholing at home with just shy of £10k of drink sold. Last of all, thank you to all of the @TheCurfews fans who came along and made it a great day. Takes two great fan bases to make special club days. It’s appreciated. ✅ Overall a successful promotion that did move the dial for a one off game. Clearly ticket revenue is the most precious commodity for football clubs as it is 100% margin. Would do again for one-off opportunities like non league day. Happily answer questions.

Most golfers get this wrong, costing them distance off the tee. You’re losing effortless power because of this one setup error. Many players set up with their lead armpit too far forward, killing their launch angle. When your lead armpit is behind the ball, it helps you hit up

Us reds don’t care. Everyone grows old & slows down and although Mo might’ve given the impression he’s superhuman, he’s no different. He’s a @LFC legend, the @premierleague GOAT & the Egyptian King. A dip in form doesn’t change that. Well enjoy Mo while he’s a red. 👍🏻😎
