Nashville received 13.57” of rain on May 1-2, 2010. The flooding that followed devastated our city and the Middle Tennessee area. I lived on a hill, in Bellevue, and only lost power. Some neighbors homes had water up to the roofs. What are your memories from that time?

I'm confused. Nashville's A-list Sim City planners are redoing the East Bank from scratch. We just ponied up extra sales tax for transit. How can they design this whole area to have traffic? New Nissan Stadium won't have traffic. There will only be a few hundred parking spaces, down from 7,000. Any new development, including a skyscraper, needs to be transit-forward: hi speed bus stops, walking path from rail across river, bike lanes and racks, scooters, and (sorry to say!) Elon's Tunnel.
