One of his attorneys, former U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, did break the silence when asked by @FITSNews whether he had discussed a presidential pardon with Donald Trump, a question initially met with no response. “Alrighty, y’all stay dry,” Gowdy said while climbing into his pickup amid rainfall.

Sgt. Charles Rhett Stafford, a nearly 12-year veteran of the department, resigned Feb. 6 for “reasons involving misconduct.” The revelation comes from separation paperwork provided by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
