South Africa could change the world. Andrew Forbes South African 🇿🇦 is working on building what could become the world’s fastest internet using quantum technology. The University of the Witwatersrand professor is exploring how lasers can transmit data thousands to millions of times faster than current systems. The twist… this is not small research. It could completely change how data moves across the world, from communication to AI and global networks.

🇿🇦 South Africa just made history. The CSIR has cracked the code on producing the critical molecules needed for lab-grown meat — CSIR has scaled up production We no longer need to import expensive starter chemicals from the US or Europe. SA is now one of the few countries on Earth that can grow its own protein. 🥩🔬 Why Is It a Big Deal? ● It eliminates the need for large-scale animal slaughter. ● It uses significantly less land and water than traditional cattle farming. Would you eat lab-grown Meat?

As a black South African, I'm very happy with what Elon Musk is doing about South Africa and it's so called transformation policies. These policies are not just reverse racism but they work against majority of blacks here. We now have the highest unemployment rate in the world

Private companies in South Africa and those trading with SA should take a stand against the country's racist laws. The government doesn't have the means or competence to enforce it. It's maintained by the private sector - the very people who are punished by it. @elonmusk

Zimbabwe's commercial farmers produced 200,000 tons of tobacco in 2000. By 2008, after Mugabe's "land reform," output collapsed to 48,000 tons. Corn production fell 60%. The country that once fed southern Africa now imports food. Property rights aren't just legal abstractions; they're the foundation of productive agriculture. When you destroy secure ownership, you destroy the incentive to invest, improve, and maintain capital. Zimbabwean farms didn't fail because of drought or bad luck. They failed because socialism always fails. You cannot redistribute your way to prosperity, only to shared poverty. Will African governments ever learn? Afro-marxism is probably the single most devastating ideology there has ever been in terms of hours of human suffering.

Absurd in the same way @tiktok_us was forced to sell, ByteDance went from full ownership to 20%, effectively giving up 80% to U.S. led investors in a deal worth tens of billions. Over 600 U.S. companies operate and comply in South Africa i.e Cisco, Amazon, Oracle, etc. What’s so special about Starlink?
Farai Mazhindu@FaraiMazhindu

Does complying with South African law mean Elon Musk must surrender 30% of his business to South Africa? If that's the case, it's an absurd law. Very few serious people would do that, and likely no one is, they tend to use politicians to dodge it, which Elon Musk definitely won't do.

ByteDance deal was very different it was not based on race. The issue is not the law, the issue is the fact that the law is racist and the anc government is anti non black people. I am so glad @elonmusk has the guts to call this out. It doesn’t make it right that others may have been ok to sell there souls and comply with these racist laws. @elonmusk thankfully is a man of principle, well done @elonmusk and thank you for shedding light on this important matter.

“The South African Government refuses to acknowledge or address the horrific Human Right Abuses endured by Afrikaners, and other descendants of Dutch, French, and German settlers. To put it more bluntly, they are killing white people, and randomly allowing their farms to be taken from them. Perhaps, worst of all, the soon to be out of business New York Times and the Fake News Media won’t issue a word against this genocide.” “Therefore, at my direction, South Africa will NOT be receiving an invitation to the 2026 G20.” - President Trump 11/25

@tumisole Do they pay electricity? Get in touch with Eskom before spreading fake news. Those people are refusing the new meters as they want to keep their uncapped electricity. For that Eskom is cutting them internally to pressurize them to get the new meter.

Yesterday I was in Katlehong and they had Loadshedding there. In Soweto, Dobsonville, they even have Loadshedding schedules and Abo Gogo and Aunties who often take care of families are left to bear the brunt. They call it Power Outages. The poor and vulnerable can never be forgotten whilst us in Suburbia Mzansi applaud on X! Journalists need to visit these communities and tell their stories, this is in now way being anti-government but we got to be honest about what does ‘328 days without Loadshedding’ mean in the real sense. #CountryDuty

The Washington Post calls for the murder of Iranian officials. Once again, Western media proves that it is owned and controlled by the Epstein class. Such threats can only come from pedophiles and murderers. But they don’t comprehend that Iran can swiftly trash their economies.
