The reason Atiku lost 2023 election are majorly due to to two reasons : 1, Northern Muslim Clerics campaigning for APC Muslim Muslim ticket, without them Atiku would have taken atleast 50% of Tinubus votes in the NE and NW. We are talking of 2M votes here. 2, Kwankwaso spoiler role, without Kwankwaso Atiku would have gotten 70% of those that voted him we are talking of 1M votes here. Without the above factors it could easily have been about 10M votes for Atiku 2023.

In as much as I understand the implications of PO contesting solo, as he did last time, this time around it will be a completely different ballgame. I would sincerely like to see what his score will be in 2027. If he secures a higher number of votes than he did in 2023, he will likely become president soon. But if he scores less than he did in 2023, that could mark the end of the mission. But 2027 is out of rich for him if the VP ticket fails.
