Shortly after the Jaguars girls basketball team won their first state championship in program history, Arts High alum Michael B. Jordan (Class of 2005) took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Sinners! Before becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, MBJ was a standout athlete at Arts, averaging 21 points per game in basketball in his senior season and winning the Colonial Hills Conference long jump title with a jump of 19-9 for the track team.
