Someone in the admin should look into this
Agarwal for Congress@ethanagarwal

.@realDonaldTrump - a request from the Iranian citizens of CA-17: The USCIS pause on immigration processing for Iran is about to expel thousands of students who are graduating from college in May. These are F-1 students, who will not be able to roll to OPT, STEM OPT, or eventually H1-B in time unless this pause is lifted. These are young people who want to contribute to America; who are in school at places like Berkeley, Santa Clara University, and Stanford. Without lifting the pause, they will have to return to Iran in 60 days. We want these young, brilliant people staying and working in America, paying taxes in America and creating jobs here. While USCIS figures out the broader timing and implications of lifting the pause against affected immigrants, we request that the pause for students graduating in 2026 specifically be lifted. I'm happy to engage with whoever from your administration is best for this. Thank you.

Most AI models hallucinate more than you'd think and make up stuff that doesn't exist Grok 4.20 just ranked #1 in Non-Hallucination Rate with a 78% score - beating Claude Opus 4.6(max), Gemini 3.1, GPT-5.4(xhigh), and every other model on the list xAI is quietly winning the accuracy game… and it’s built to be truthful

This morning was an absolute punch in the gut. My 5-year-old son is my best friend. I do everything I can to be home by 6pm every day so that I can spend an hour with him before he goes to bed. We play any and all sports together every weekend. We horseplay and crack each other up on a daily basis. We travel to sporting events in different cities across the country multiple times a year. We’re basically the same person, and I take pride in how close we are and how much time we spend together. I took him to school this morning like I do on many days, while I’m vaguely aware that the school invites parents to join the class for a half hour periodically - but I’m always in a rush to get the work day going after I drop him off, and I know my wife attends here and there. This morning on the ride to school, he looked at me and said softly, “I know your work is really important so you don’t need to stay for the parents coffee today.” Yikes. The parent mornings are a much bigger deal than I realized, and I learned in that moment he was bothered I’d never attended. What an unbelievable oversight on my part. You try to balance everything and keep up with so many demands from all directions. You think you’re a really good parent and take pride in it - and sometimes you miss the small things that make such a huge difference. At one point a teacher asked the kids what they were thankful for. He raised his hand: “I’m thankful that my dad is here.” No seven words have ever stung this much, and I’m going to make changes.

Imagine if Tesla for serous about selling Cybertrucks and dropped an amazing refresh. 500 miles of range, 6th seat option, more conventional looks, monster charge curve, front charge port for better access while towing, strip some of the frills like 4 wheel steer that are nice but expensive and don’t actually move the needle. $69,999 Make a truck that can be the true hardcore smackdown on ICE trucks. I’d be the first in line to buy one. A man can dream 😔

Tree planting in Canada pays 13 cents per tree, and she makes $500 a day—that’s over 3,800 trees per day. Wow! 🌲💸 Who knew planting trees paid this well? 🤑🌳🚀

A few controversial opinions I have today that I think will be universally accepted in 20 years: 1) video games are horrifically addictive and ruining kids lives. 2) a lot of vaccines are totally unnecessary and are messing kids up really bad. 3) fluoride in water is a disaster. Filter it asap and get it out of your toothpaste too. 4) routine bloodwork and hormone optimization would keep all these 40 year old men from looking like blobs and 40 year old women sexually active with their husbands. 5) birth control for ladies is terrible for them and messing them up bad. Stop putting your 15 yr old daughters on them. 6) straight teeth is a no brainer investment. So many people could have 10x the confidence for $5k. 7) glyphosate is killing a ton of people. 8) large vehicles are 10x safer than small vehicles. Don’t put your wife or 16 year old in a sedan. 9) iPads for kids = crack cocaine and it is making them dumber because their attention span shrinks and they never want to play or read books. YouTube is also terrible for them because of shorts. 10) waiting till 35 to get married is a disaster. A lot of these folks are going to wish they had more kids and live with the regrets forever. 11) plastics are killing us. Polyester underwear, tea bags, cutting boards, microwavable meals in plastic (looking at 99.9% of schools and all the meal delivery services). 12) non stick pans cause cancer. 13) kids shouldn’t drink soft drinks ever. And I can’t believe parents buy fruity pebbles and pop tarts. 14) alcohol isn’t as bad as people think it is. When used in moderation it is a net positive. 15) Pitbulls should be banned. 16) recycling is a total scam and should be abolished. 17) sauna is very very healthy. Most people don’t sweat enough. 18) power lifting as a grown adult isn’t worth the damage to back and joints. 19) Long distance running isn’t healthy. More people should sprint. 20) heart disease is #1 killer in men by 10x. Yet nobody gets a heart workup at 35 or 45 or tracks lipid panels. They just wait till they need a bypass or it’s too late. Make it make sense! 21) a lot of my fat friends refuse to use GLP1s because of potential side effects. The side effects of being fat are 10x worse (because of #20). Wake up! 22) a normal, old fashioned business is 10x more likely to make somebody wealthy than a tech startup. 23) AI won’t change the world very much. People are over reacting today just like Elon when he told us we’d have full self driving cars by 2014. It is a long way off. 24) crypto outside of BTC is a total waste of time and electricity. 25) high school kids are numb and antisocial today. They aren’t interested in driving, sex, sports. They can’t talk to anyone and look them in the eye. It’s because they are medicated by social media and what we are feeding them. Also see #1 and #2. If you can raise normal kids they are going to have an easier time than ever getting ahead in this world. What’d I miss? How many of these do you agree with me on?

We switched from Zoom/Slack to Teams at the beginning of the year b/c the firm has Microsoft already so we (meaning our CFO) decided it made financial sense. I was irritated. Guess what? It works way better. It just kind of works all the time like it supposed to. No glitches.
