China may be beating us in batteries, but the United States has TWICE as many rocks as China does. Why not simply use those to store gravitational potential energy by hoisting them high up?

I was just at a restaurant talking to the owner about his Tesla and our new VW ID BUZZ. He thought it was very cool and asked if it had self driving like his Tesla?
I kind of smirked and said… Nobody really has full self driving like Tesla. They are definitely the best. But the BUZZ does have great lane keeping similar to Autopilot.
I’m happy give constructive criticism on just about anything, but I’m very realistic about the truth and reality!

Most people still think operating an EV for 1/4th the cost and “$10 fill ups” are a hoax. Be sure to remind those people that it’s reality!

@TesCalendar1 VW put this on our ID.4 service history too. I asked the service advisor why they're changing oil on an EV without an engine. She said it's just something that goes on every invoice. 🤷♂️

Their issue is with government putting their thumb on the scale.
We didn’t go from horse and buggy to cars because govt banned horses or taxed oats beyond affordability.
Let the free market decide if it is a better mousetrap.

@TesCalendar1 The car sees about 7500 miles a year as a 2nd car. Its primarily used for errands and trips to the gym. Driving below avg miles in a ev is a waste and this is the perfect example of why someone would buy a phev.
