Why are people so surprised that a majority of the audience on last night's Question Time want to be in the EU? That's what they voted for. Of course they did. Staying in the EU was always much more preferable than leaving. It's a shame English and Welsh voters didn't see that.

False. Coal generated 54.6% of China's electricity in 2025 and is losing market share. An EV running on 100% coal (none do) would emit less CO2 than an oil burner that gets 25mpg. Why? EVs are much more efficient than oil burners. Petrostate supporters love this lie.

Why on earth did we ever allow giant oil and gas companies to avoid paying tax here because they made losses in other parts of the world? Do they pay tax here on profits made in other parts of the world - no. A bizarre loophole/allowance that our tax system is chock full of. This should destroy Nigel Farage’s entire political argument. Net migration has collapsed from 944,000 to around 204,000, yet voters still think it’s rising because Reform and Farage have spent years feeding Britain hysteria instead of facts. Asylum seekers are only about 9% of immigration, not the “invasion” constantly screamed about. The NHS was broken by underfunding. Housing was broken by austerity. Wages were crushed by corporate greed. Migrants were the distraction. Not the cause.
