I married the love of my life ten years ago today. Our ceremony took place in a stone chapel with a dirt floor and a glass roof. A man built it for his wife in the 1860s. The glass roof was installed over a century later.
March 26, 2016, was a warm day. Lots of sunlight in the old chapel. Our closest friends and family filled the pews. Right as we were pronounced man and wife, “I Put a Spell on You” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins kicked on the stereo, and in the decade that followed, God blessed us with joy, adventure, and three beautiful children.
