Letting a bad bill become law without signing it is cowardly. It’s an admission that the policy is flawed, but you’re not willing to stand up to your own party and tell them it’s a bad idea. The so-called “Community Trust Act” prevents local police from cooperating with federal authorities when they arrest an illegal alien with criminal charges. This bill makes Maryland a sanctuary state and our citizens significantly less safe. The governor knows this, but he is not willing to stand up for us. You heard of American First?
