It means fit it so it’s stiff to the point where the slide can be installed and removed but requires being tapped on or off. Let it self fit the final amount instead of trying to fit it before break in

The audience will be all California CCCW coordinators/sheriffs office representatives who want to improve the process. So I’m hopeful to have a good dialogue with them and make things better.

Speaking at a Ccw conference for California law enforcement next week. It’s proving very difficult to fight the desire to say “remove all the requirements and make it free” But there’s a real opportunity to impact change in the right direction. If you have experience in the process good or bad about the California Ccw process let me know. If you have things you’d like changed on the admin side/sheriffs office side let me know.

BTW, Boland/Renna was argued in August of 2023. Over two and a half years ago. Granted, it was stayed pending Duncan, and they asked for supplemental briefing on that ruling. But that briefing was done last May, plenty of time to have decided it since then. Don't know what the holdup is. I don't expect a good ruling, because our panel seemed to be 2-1 against us, but this was also just a preliminary injunction appeal, so not sure why they have to stall us so long. Just hand us our L if that's what it's going to be, and let us get on with final judgment. Could be that they are now waiting for Yukutake and Rhode, but there will always be some ruling to wait on. SCOTUS could grant cert in a hardware case for next term and then what, no Boland ruling until sometime after summer 2027?
