@krassenstein I love it. Not for the same reasons as you. But i do love it.
English

@lifeof_jer I have to say. For all intents and purposes of transparency.
This is your fault, no one else’s. If you don’t know why, you’re not ready for this level.
Lesson learned.

@JoJoFromJerz Who flies flags? That’s retarded. I have 0 flags at my house.
And I’m Republican.

@drjgamingyt @DrRitaDed I see what you did there. And i approve

@DrRitaDed To those in the Community Notes, the poster is stating something based on an opinion. Whether you agree or disagree with there opinion, doesn't give the right to abuse Community Notes like this.

Tax Day is coming and I'm NOT paying my taxes this year.
Nope, I refuse to fund the fraud and corruption.
What gets me though, is that if the IRS comes after me, the consequences for me not paying my tax bill will more than likely be worse than the consequences for the frauds who are stealing millions and billions of our tax dollars.
I don't care. I will die on this hill.
English

@illwill90195 @RecklessBeav @allenanalysis I hear ya. Filth and poverty has its advantages, or so I’m told. Constant flow of pussy-for-sale at least, amirite?

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani just made history.
New York’s first-ever pied-à-terre tax — an annual fee on luxury properties worth $5M+ owned by people who don’t even live here.
Ken Griffin bought a $238M penthouse in NYC.
He doesn’t live here. It sits empty.
While working New Yorkers can’t afford rent.
That changes today. $500M annually — straight to childcare, clean streets, and safer neighborhoods.
This is what governing for people looks like.

@asaio87 I look forward to your next post about getting hacked and drained financially.

I just finished vibecoding a Saas app we pay $99/mo for.
It took me just 5 full working days.
I worked 14 hours a day for just 5 days but it was all worth it.
It has a few bugs I still cannot get rid of, but I am going to spend a few weekends fixing them.
My family will understand.
And the cost of running it is just $75/mo in AI tokens
But its so worth it
vibecoding is pure awesomeness
and saas is dead... almost forgot

@haha_girrrl If you're 22, getting that job offer, you give head to strangers... take Option B

BREAKING: JD Vance just told the Pope to be careful when opining on theology.
The Pope.
The head of the Catholic Church. The Bishop of Rome. The man whose institution has been the authority on Christian theology for two thousand years.
JD Vance — who converted to Catholicism in 2019 — is telling the Pope to be careful about theology.

@quant_guy @WomenBeingAwful Atlanta men live in a trailer and bang their cousins... you took this image by the CNN Building?

@PeterSchiff IRC = Internal Revenue Code .... Code = Law ... Law = Bill passed by Congress.
How are you rich?
English

I added this related to a readers context. Imposing a tax does not on its own create a liability to pay the tax. Many taxes are imposed in the IRC. But there are also other sections that create a liability to pay the tax imposed. There is no section of the IRC that creates a liability to pay the income tax. Section 6012 only relates to filing of returns, not the payment of tax. It reads who is not required to file and who "shall" file. Shall is not the same as required. But if no section makes you liable to pay the tax, then you are not required to file. Section 6151 only requires payment if one is required to file. But since there is no section making anyone liable to pay the income tax, no one is required to file. Also, if anyone is charged with tax evasion, and if that person objects to his tax return being introduced into evidence against him, the government will argue that the return was filed voluntarily, and as such it can be used against the preparer. However, if tax returns were required to be filed, the government would not be able to use the returns as evidence against the preparer, as that would violate his 5th Amendment rights.

@windchaser22 @allenanalysis It's currently NOT the center of the Financial World... it goes London -> Chicago -> Tx -> Florida
English

@allenanalysis The most likely outcome is NY will soon no longer be the center of the financial world. There is simply no reason to stay. The warmth of collectivism is at odds with free will and pursuit of happiness.
English

@illwill90195 @DeckerKell36048 @RecklessBeav @allenanalysis I spent $1000 per month just commuting to Manhattan, and that was early 2000's
English

@DeckerKell36048 @RecklessBeav @allenanalysis The folks moving out are older and retired folks that need a cheaper lifestyle. NYC has the largest transportation system in America for every expense, nyc always offers 1000+ cheaper alternatives.
English

@illwill90195 @RecklessBeav @allenanalysis I left the "Best City" for the middle of nowhere. Take 7 figures and FLEE, this is the way.
English

@RecklessBeav @allenanalysis Might be hard to believe but a lot of folks don’t want to live in the middle of no where they rather be in the best city.
