@Gebo___ In Florida, we dump millions upon millions of gallons of water back into the ocean every day during the rainy season. If not, we'd flood terribly. Golf courses (at least down here) store this water all over the place. If there's one thing Florida has, it's water.

Ross didn't influence the 642. He wore it later. But him wearing Cazal did a lot for the vintage market and retros. But it was the Cazal Phantics group and Vintage-sunglasses de influenced the 642 Cazal's owner and a few executives actually come into the Phanatics facebook group I was in and saw how crazy we were going for models they didn't expect. That's why they retroed the 627, 634, 642, 643, and other obscure models that didn't sell well in the 2010s. Lol the owner/lead designer even signed a poster for me.

I feel like yapping about frame history. Fun fact me flexing in a facebook group and a german sunglasses shop are part of the reason Cazal retroed the Cazal 642. Before they re-issued them in 2012 the 642 was one of the rarest and most expensive (OG pairs still go for big bread) Cazal on the market. A nightmare to create the 642 is made of seventeen individual parts, four different materials, and the acetate rings took 6 months to create.

when i was in high school someone recorded the sound of the school bell on their flip phone in an attempt to try to end class earlier. because we all had piece of shit flip phones they were extremely loud and this worked. sounded just like the regular bell. mp3 got sent around school and you’d be sitting in English class watching the clock and suddenly the bell rang two minutes early. teacher had no clue. thought it was a fluke. people got overconfident and started ringing the last bell early. whole classes start walking out 10 minutes early. principal trying to figure out what is wrong with the bells. this went on for a week or two until someone got caught and the teachers started having to watch the clocks so we didn’t Trick them. they had to staff people to watch the exits bc we succeeded in Tricking them. truly peak millennial experience, phones were perfect and should have stopped advancing there.

@RealJesseWood Yeah it’s a bummer, I wasn’t expecting to get hit with any fee’s because they didn’t show at checkout but guess the joke was on me. UPS actually just attempted delivery but I had to refuse it cause the fee’s were absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered 2 hats from Better Gift Shop in Canada, came to $120 plus $18 for shipping, got an email from UPS saying they want $172 in Import fee's to deliver the package...how does that even make sense!? Thats well over a 100% import fee for some hats.
