@VenturaCountyFC I wouldn’t give in. They are trying to intimidate with legal slang but I believe you are in the drivers seat with facts, truth and proof. Seems to me the law is behind you.

I want to share some updates with you on another big week for the FBI’s “Summer Heat” initiative to crush violent crime. -Our agents and partners across the globe worked together to arrest a man accused of trying to entice a minor after he fled the U.S. to avoid charges in an @FBIJacksonville investigation. -Big News out of @FBIAlbany where Operation Tidal wave is crushing violent crime in that region. This week alone in Albany, 200 law enforcement partners from 20 agencies made several arrests including the owner/operator of a commercial sex enterprise. This investigation also led to the seizure of more than 130 weapons---one of the Largest-Ever Firearms Seizures in the History of the Northern District of New York. -@FBIWFO continues to support law enforcement in Washington, D.C. by deploying teams of special agents on nightly patrol shifts. -We’ve taken down several key players of multiple neighborhood gangs across the country wreaking havoc in our communities---trafficking drugs, committing robberies, assaults, murder, and human trafficking. In addition, another arrest occurred of one of our Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Cindy Rodriguez Singh, the FOURTH Top 10 apprehension since January. This week, the FBI and our partners made 180 arrests, bringing the total since the start of “Summer Heat” to over 4,700. In all, we’ve also taken over 1,000 weapons off the streets and recovered 270 children. We remain committed to working with our federal, state, and local partners to combat violent crime, protect our communities and uphold the rule of law. Together, we are making real progress. As promised, I want to provide an update on our efforts out of @FBI to defend the homeland and protect Americans from threats here at home and around the world. We’re right around the 6 month mark, and thanks to the leadership of this administration and the work of our men and women of law enforcement, there is no doubt our country is safer today than it was in January.
- Immigration Enforcement: Since January 20, the FBI has assisted our partners at @DHS in over 21,900 immigration enforcement-related detentions and arrests. We surged resources at never before seen levels to meet the need after four years of a crisis at the southern border. Our agents and field teams did a tremendous job rising to the challenge.
-Violent Crime Arrests: From January 20th- present, there have been over 12,400 arrests in the violent crime and gang program. We’re crushing gang operations at the source and taking them off the streets.
-Illegal Drug Seizures: Between January 20th to last Friday July 18th, the FBI has seized 1,430 kilograms of fentanyl – an increase over the same timeframe from last year (1,089 kgs). This work is saving lives.
-Additionally, in that same time frame, the FBI has seized over 62,000 kilograms of cocaine, 5,000 kilograms of methamphetamine and 12,600 kilograms of marijuana.
-Because of these successes, and others, we continue to be on pace for one of the lowest murder rates ever recorded in the U.S. That is no accident.
We have so much more to do. The work will continue. God bless America, and all those who defend her.
