Pierre McGuire says Teddy Blueger is one of the most versatile players in the NHL.
I'm not sure how much stock I put into what McGuire says but versatility in the bottom six was a need for Toronto and it looks like they did that with Nick Paul, Colton Sissons and Teddy Blueger.

@ReeseTheBeagle @berezin_goal Collectively of course they're responsible. There are other factors like coaching, style, roster construction but the players ultimately own it. The clearly defined roles part of my comment is vital, the group of players you named were usually miscast

Disagree with Hayes criticizing Carlsson for accepting the offer sheet instead of waiting for the Ducks to give him a "fair" deal. A team just offered to make him the highest-paid player in NHL history before he had a 70-point season. At a certain point you'd be insane to say no.

Thing I like about Leafs new bottom-6 is that it knows what it is. PK, check, do it right. For years Leafs bottom-6 has included like… Spezza and Thornton, Robertson, Jarnkrok, Domi, all these guys that didn’t really wanna play that part. Can skate, bigger, just more predictable
