BREAKING: Austin, TX Police have issued a SHELTER-IN-PLACE warning for a large swath of the city, seen in the below map, as a shooter is going around firing AT RANDOM in the area Up to NINE shootings have taken place since last night, and four have been shot. Two fire stations have also been shot at, and police are looking for suspect(s) possible in their late teens. Supposedly, they’re switching between the vehicles seen below. Anyone in Austin with info is encouraged to call 911 immediately.

🇺🇸 What @SpeakerJohnson is really saying is that Congress views itself as a class that deserves protection from the economic conditions ordinary Americans are expected to live under. When inflation destroys your purchasing power, you’re told to budget better, work harder, cut back, or accept it. When inflation affects Congress, suddenly there is sympathy, concern about quality of life, and arguments for why they need access to stock trading and other advantages to “take care of their families.” That’s the hypocrisy people are angry about. Social Security recipients fall behind the real cost of living for years. Working people absorb higher housing costs, insurance bills, debt, and groceries directly. Meanwhile the political class keeps finding ways to protect itself while claiming the system cannot be changed. That clip wasn’t just about stock trading. This is what local accountability looks like: In Festus, Missouri, a town of about 14,000 people, the city council quietly approved a $6 billion Ai data center to be built on 360 acres just north of Highway 67. Residents say they were never properly heard. Meetings were held in private. Documents were released too late. A week after the approval, the town held a regular election. Voter turnout jumped 129 percent. Every single council member who had voted yes lost in a landslide. A 70-year-old first-time candidate beat an 8-year incumbent by 40 percentage points. Now a recall petition is circulating to remove the mayor as well. The lawsuit against the city is already filed. Has your local government ever been held accountable like this? 🔥
