I just got home to find my teenage daughter making Hamantaschen - traditional pastry for Purim, a Jewish holiday, with two girls (under 5) who had been kidnapped for over 50 days by Hamas scum terrorists. A few weeks ago these girls were being starved in captivity, today they are preparing for Purim with their new friend in Florida, my daughter. Proud of my girl. Proud of my people. We will dance again.

Yesterday, I listened to the grief and terror in a mother’s voice as she spoke about her son -- a Californian right now being held hostage in Gaza -- whose arm was blown off by a terrorist’s grenade.
 No one deserves to live in the kind of fear and terror that the Israeli people are enduring right now. CA is sending much needed medical supplies to bring a small amount of relief to a region experiencing unspeakable violence.
