May is Jewish American Heritage Month! Always proud to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the Jewish community in New Jersey and across our nation, today and every day! As we celebrate this month, we must also commit as a nation to standing up to antisemitism and hate in all forms.

Another busy week fighting for Jersey! I started the week in Jersey, where I introduced the “Jersey Pride” tax credit, before heading to Washington to reopen DHS and introduce legislation to condemn online personalities that are stirring up hate.

The clock is up. After 60 days, per the War Powers Act, it’s time for the President to come to Congress, review our progress and objectives, and be clear about how he plans to resolve the conflict. The Iranian regime is our enemy, and they deserve to be crushed, but understanding how we get there is key. Congress has an important role to play. I will keep pushing the administration for transparency with Congress and the American people.

My statement on the Fifth Court’s decision:

Great meeting with Jersey representatives from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists today. We talked about strengthening the workforce, cutting red tape, and expanding access to affordable care, especially in underserved communities. After working for the son of the most famous nurse anesthetist, Virginia Kelly, I know how hard anesthetists work each day to put patients first!

This is about Jersey pride. It’s about making sure that when people come here, whether it’s for the World Cup, on vacation, for business, or just passing through, they leave knowing exactly where they were: New Jersey.

I’ve been fighting to support cutting-edge stem cell research to unlock treatments and cures for diseases like cancer, Parkinson’s, and more. That’s why I’m helping lead bipartisan legislation to reauthorize critical stem cell research programs and keep America at the forefront of medical breakthroughs. Hatred is hatred, period. It doesn’t matter whether it comes from the far right or the far left. When influential voices like Hasan Piker and Candace Owens spread hate, promote terrorism, or dehumanize Jewish people, it fuels real-world violence. We know tourism is a huge driver for our state. It brings in tens of billions of dollars in economic activity and supports families across New Jersey every single year. Ahead of the World Cup, my new legislation, The "Jersey Pride" Tax Credit, creates a 25 percent tax credit for businesses that sell products promoting Jersey, right here in our airports, train stations, and rest stops.
