My most extreme opinion is that the entire planet should just use military UTC and if that means that "daytime" is 2300 - 1700 that's just what time it is. Nothing changes except what the clock says. It would be weird for like a year and then it would be fine.

@HVNYrefugee Tell a Mexican to say the word Yesteryear, or a Chinese to say the word Alliteration. They physically can't say those words correctly. I make a point of pronouncing EVERYTHING in English, and if foreigner corrects me, I tell them, "That's how we say it in English."
