My Relationship with a Lizard. When I was a kid, I used to watch the lizards in the backyard and on the patio. Little fellas that are very common to Florida. I always saw them bob their heads up and down and, what I thought was, sticking out their tongues. Turns out, it's actually part of their throat, a dewlap. But I was like 12. What did I know? I figured they were trying to communicate. And I was going to communicate back. For a span of several weeks, every time they I saw one, I would sit on the patio or in the grass and stick my tongue out at it whenever it did. I thought I was making a breakthrough in communication. That I would be the Lizard Queen and be known across the world as the only human to communicate with lizards. My parents didn't do much about it. This was par for the course in my antics at that age. My brother saw me doing it one day and called me a perv. It turns out the thing the lizards were doing with their throat was a mating call. And I trying to respond in kind. I wasn't as much as a Lizard Queen as I was a Lizard Slut. After learning of this, I stopped it immediately and gave up any ideas of being a zoologist.

I know. It is very tough. But I am proud of you for still going even after that terrible event. I am laying in bed in pure depression. Why get up, if Elon is worth a trillion dollars?! Woe. Nothing makes sense anymore! That money could go to others, who have no right to it, and didn’t earn it, but should get it anyway because I say so. Woe!

Every year I spend a week with my family at the beach. Normally it’s a great time but this year, with Elon Musk now being a trillionaire, it feels hollow and empty. How am I supposed to enjoy a sunny beach vacation when one man has so much money? Musk has ruined my week.

Remember those posts last week about how Americans are not passionate about their sports? Welp, I am glad our international guests are getting to experience the insanity that takes place when New York wins something…

I gotta say, it’s pretty freaking refreshing and awesome to have events that appeal to every-day, blue-collar Americans, and not just the elitist swamp for a change. Liberals hate anything that might celebrate and promote average American culture. And calling these things “white trash” and “cringe”, things that millions of Americans enjoy, it just goes to show what the left thinks of average red blooded Americans. They loathe us, and look down on us. But I feel like they will be left in the dust, because American pride is making a comeback in a big way. I am patriotic all day of every year, but I am feeling a certain joy in my patriotism that I remember feeling as a small child in the 80’s. We may still have some battles to fight trying to repair the damage the liberals have done to this great country, but after all the darkness and despair of the past 25 years since 9/11, it feels like American normalcy is on its way to making one hell of a comeback. 🇺🇸🤘🏼😎

History on the History of the Crusades. The Crusades get a bad rap today from many contemporary historians. But this is less of a product of the actual history of the Crusades, and more on the political spin put on the Crusades. That's right: Leftists have had their dirty little hands in this area, too. Between the end of the Crusades and the 20th Century, there was very little 'grief' by Muslims about the supposed Christian incursions into their lands (because, of course, those lands were Christian first!). But that changed in the 20th century. After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire following WWI, the spin that the Crusaders were just white people going across the world to conquer muslims was invented. Never mind the fact the lands the Crusaders took in the 11th and 12th centuries were lands that had belonged to Christians prior to Mohammad. But it changed because during this time, several European countries (mainly the UK and France), were taking over portions of former Ottoman lands in the Middle East. Ottoman control collapsed in these areas, and Europe was trying to stabilize it (and as Europeans do, totally f---ed it up). See Vietnam for reference. The negative spin on the Crusades intensified after Israel's independence and recognition by the US and many in the UN. That's when we see the terrorists start to pop up calling for a Palestine, Arab unification, etc. And then you had the fallout from 9/11. Muslim leaders likened the War on Terror to another crusade. In reality, the Crusades were the West's response to centuries of Muslim conquest, incursions, and terror. But Leftists in the 20th century twisted the history to match their idea of "evil Imperialism" and to toss gasoline on the fire. Of course, we know that's on brand for Leftism.
