My favorite pie is coconut cream pie and my wife made me one from scratch for my birthday. She did a fantastic job. Pretty good birthday overall. Daughter and her family came over. #1 grandson brought a sling shot type gun over that was broken for me to fix. #2 grandson wants to prove he can run faster than me (he can’t) and #3 grandson beat me in a game of ‘match it’, then told me he set up the cards so he knew where the were, the little cheater. What made my day was the two neighbor kids, (boy 6 and girl 4) who came over while I was preparing dinner without their parents to wish me a happy birthday. Called their mom to let them know they arrived and my daughter was gonna walk them back. Their mom said they have been wanting to wish me happy birthday since they woke up this morning. Way to melt an old man’s heart.
