@DomClare I never understood the stigma behind gaming. It’s not limited to video games. Slight stigma with board games as well. Adults have this flawed view that you should grow out of playing any kind of games.

@nutseller @SEllison99337 No, it sounds like you are overreacting to last season. I’ve always been more critical of him and his flaws from his first season. But now ppl are overreacting bc he couldn’t make a major project work out in his first year as a starter when he acknowledged he wasn’t ready.

But he’s stuck with bad coordinators and position coaches.
He is possibly the best coach at giving speeches but he’s terrible at situation play calling, time management, getting team up and ready for huge games.
And I’ve always loved him but I’ve just become more real about his inability to adjust to better the team.

I certainly lost faith in Kwesi quite a bit, but I believe now ownership likely make the wrong firing. I think they should have traded KOC and let B Flo guide decisions on this team. If KOC is giving up on JJM in favor of these other two, then I have less than zero hope now that KOC will lead us to a SB.

We also have not gotten a decent OL play for an entire year, which would benefit his style of football dramatically. Playoff success is dependent on all phases. @RealMarkGalabi @nutseller I’m a Vikings fan first, so don’t really care who is QB if they win a Super Bowl. That being said, KoC is not a top 10 coach. Dude is an offensive coach who has had mid offenses for years and has no playoff success. His PR is insane.

I mean, compared to the route you’re offering, it certainly is.
Until there’s a legitimate Greenard resolution, EDGE doesn’t make sense at 18. And IMO WR3 is something that can be satisfied outside of R1 (sort of like the safety options you listed).
If you were arguing DT or CB is a more valuable position to target in R1, I’d probs concede to that in various ways.
But basically saying “don’t draft a guy that can start, draft a developmental edge or WR” is sort of crazy

I don’t love this at 18.
The “draft a first round safety because Harrison Smith might retire” isn’t great reasoning for me.
He’s a good player, no doubt, but I’m interested in filling a higher value position depending on how the board falls.
Adding another edge would be ideal.
