I think he gets a pass on the AHX stuff because Kaye was legitimately acting like a maniac at the time and has subsequently acknowledged as much. Plus his ending sounds terrible (Derick gets up, goes to the mirror and shaves his head) Side note though: Lake of Fire by Tony Kaye is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen.

@meleesauce I suspect there is a bit of a snap back effect with it becoming increasingly prevalent in a short span of time. Like people will complain about non AI being AI slop because they’re on edge looking for it at this point

What Are your preferences on AI imagery in YT videos? A: None of any kind, for any reason B: Only subtle use - like changing day to night for illustrative purposes C: Fine with overt use, so long as it's not plausibly real (like the owl holding a dagger in the M Peterson video)

HELP FOR NEXT VIDEO: I’m looking for clips from movies, TV shows, and real life examples (like news interviews with lawyers or whatever) of characters/people saying “circumstantial evidence” in a way that implies “weak evidence” - “purely circumstantial!”, “your case is circumstantial at best!” - that sort of thing. Actual clips are obviously great, but if you just remember the moment exists in the thing, I can track it down :)

Plenty of raw material and what I figured was a very, very straight forward case = quicker turnaround. Well, turns out it was way more complicated explaining how steps A through Z panned out than I was ever expecting, so I got completely stuck in the mud with it. The main thing is, I think it turned out well in the end and it’s getting a good response, so I hope you all enjoy it when you see it. One of the “best” endings to an episode of television

If you've ever wondered if cables are worth paying extra for, my verdict is now officially "yes." I used to have an issue with intermittent hums creeping into my recordings, and having now upgraded to Mogami Gold Studio XLRs the issue is gone. Still feels like as much of a grind as ever, but they're probably going to quietly save me hours of time - meaning you're going to get the next way-over-delayed video marginally faster than you otherwise would!

Nancy Guthrie Annie is Savannah's older sister. Annie lives only about 10 minutes from Nancy and had dinner and game night with Nancy the night before Nancy went missing. Annie's husband, Tommaso, drove Nancy home after dinner and was the last to see Nancy alive. Annie and Tommaso have also increased their camera coverage at their house.
